Surface mount bollard remains flexible after impact

According to Pexco, its surface mount City Post SM remains flexible, even at extreme temperature and returns to a full upright position even after 100 impacts at 60mph (100km/h).
The three-inch round post is manufactured from thermoplastic polyurethane for high impact resistance and can be installed in either asphalt or concrete.
The company says the post is ideal for use on roads where high durability and minimal maintenance is needed but coring for an anchor is impractical or undesirable.
Reusable anchor bolts allow for posts to be replaced quickly and simply. Subjected to endurance testing at Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) the City Post survived beyond 100 impacts at 60mph. The posts also meet MUTCD and NCHRP 350 requirements and are EN13422 and EN12767 certified.
